My soldier left me today for three weeks. This is the longest that we have had to be apart since we were married. Needless to say, I'm having a little bit of a hard time with it. But I will make it through. For those who don't know, he is in the Army Reserves and his MOS is Petroleum Supply Specialist. He has been in for about 4 years now and has 4 years to go. I'm ready for it all to be over. He was showing me all his stuff last night, unfortunately I didn't get one of the gas mask. It was pretty cool.... never seen one in real life... just in the movies. But it does sound like Darth Vader a little.In preparation for going he also shaved his head. He hates having long hair, especially during the summer. He says he is too lazy to comb it. So here are some before and after pictures. He thought he kinda looked like a cancer patient or something. I like it.... Baby soft smooth :)
