Good times and great oldies

Those of you who know me well are aware of the fact that I love oldies music. 50's, 60's, 70's and even some from the 80's. It is real music, real singing, and you can dance to most of it. Good stuff. I also am of the opinion that the majority of today's music is CRAP! Now there are a few exceptions. For example I really like Maroon 5. And every now and then I can enjoy at least one rap song if it has a cool beat. And that is only because it reminds me of high school when, for a brief time, Moab was able to pick up a radio station from Grand Junction that played a lot of rap. Songs like Airforce One, Magic Stick, and The Thong Song were popular at the time. They were played at basketball games and stuff, but on my own time it was all oldies.
So the other day I was messing around on playlist.com listening to music and what not. And I came across a song I thought was pretty cool. It's called Big Shot Pimpin. It is the best of the oldies and some music from my school days. They mixed Big Shot by Billy Joel and Big Pimpin by Jay-Z. It's kind of cool. If you're interested go check it out. Go to playlist.com, on the home page under featured playlists click on the one called made by you. Its track 20. Enjoy the blend.

That is a pretty awesome play list! I've been listening too it most of the day and some of the mixes are pretty sweet. P.S. that photo of Billy Joel looks like your dad. Ha ha :)
